Programmer Needed for LabView National Instruments Projects and Support

Overview: We are looking to hire an experienced programmer to assist with our National Instruments LabView projects. You would be expected to provide custom software development and associated processes such as debugging and software integration with input from engineering management. This is part of an ongoing effort to modernization and development of newly automated equipment at our New Jersey Facility. Project: We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced National Instruments LabVIEW programmer to provide us with completed software. You will be responsible for designing, developing LabVIEW applications and instrumentation hardware that are used for our current production process support and test automation. Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain LabVIEW applications for data analysis, test automation, and control systems. • Develop and maintain custom LabVIEW instrument drivers and interface code for various devices. • Identify, analyze, and solve problems in LabVIEW applications and instrumentation systems. • Maintain and update existing LabVIEW systems to ensure functionality. Work with on site engineering to train and advise on developed projects. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements, specifications and communicate progress on projects. • Provide training and support to other LabVIEW users and team members. • Generate, organize and maintain proper documentation for LabVIEW programs and systems. Requirements: • At least 5 years of experience in developing applications using LabVIEW programming language • Proficiency in National Instruments hardware and software, including data acquisition, signal processing, and instrument control. • Experience in developing custom LabVIEW instrument drivers and interface code for various devices. • Strong understanding of communication protocols including TCP/IP, UDP, RS-232, and GPIB. • Experience designing and implementing control systems using LabVIEW. • Familiarity with the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance. • Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as in team environments.
