I have a fully working EMC VNX5500 SAN box. I have installed on the client Centos7 and the EMC HostAgent and everything works great. However when the client has Debian 9 installed, (same exact hardware) the VNX system refused to have the HBA log in. This job is essentially, to get my test debian machine to work with this VNX system. (centos works fine and automatically) I assume this will be only configuration changes on the client only seeing both CentOS and Debian are pretty similar in the system they are linux You will get SSH access to the Debian client (root) and also teamviewer access to the machine which manages the EMC VNX web portal.
