The participants (we) are presented with a so called Capture the Flag (CTF), in the form of a simulated, virtualized network. Our job is to hack it! The participants don’t attack each other, their task is to hack and break the different challenges presented for them. There is no active defensive side. Instead your job is to penetrate into the (rather passive) simulated network by completing a number of offensive tasks! So we will have online contact during Tuesday-Wednesday and break the network together. I will be on the floor, addressing our attacks into the network. Everything including prize money is sponsored by Swedish Government. I am invited because I read computer science at the University. And I, although I don't like hacking or breaking into others computers, really intend to win, with online help. It is okey to take advices from mentors during the competition. So this is no cheat!
If we win any prize money, we will share it equal to max 4 participants.
First prize is $ 3000 US.
Second prize is $1500 US.
Bronze is $1000 US.
