We have a CentOS 7 server installed with SOFTACULOUS VIRTUALIZOR, a hypervizor software. There are two physical NIC on the server. The NIC are cabled to a router, and each of the NIC has a VLAN attached to it, to keep them separate, they also have their own subnet and gateway. We know this works, both NIC can be reached via the network, and can ping out.
What we want, is for the first NIC set to receive the Hypervizor control panel and other server functions (this is already does, we have that working), and we want the second NIC set as a bridge for the hosted VPS on this machine so the VPS can also reach the network and be reached... this seems a bit more complex for us than expected - so we need some small assistance from a person with the required knowledge and experience.
That means:
- you need to create the required bridge
- set the NIC to one of the usable IP's in the same range and correct gateway
- demonstrate that the main IP and the associated IPs (used for the VPS) are reachable via the bridge from the wider Internet, and can also send out to the Internet
For the right person, this might only be a 10 - 15 minute job, quite literally! if you are the wrong person it will take days and go nowhere... so please don't apply if you have no experience of such configurations, we don't have time for you to learn.
