PACE Business Partners requires external expertise in the O&G downstream - refineries for a consulting project in Mozambique. The project consists on the elaboration of the feasibility study of a refinery in Mozambique. This study should present the following deliverables: technical report (analysis of the various technical alternatives for hydrocarbon processing, type and quantity of the products depending on the national and regional market), economic evaluation and market study at local and regional level.
The team expert should be able to have the following requirements below:
1)10 years of proven experience of work, preferably acting in a consultancy firm focus on the Oil and Gas sector;
2)Proven experience in the evaluation, design and / or construction of refineries;
3)Solid work experience in developing engineering and market studies;
4)Proven knowledge of regional market of petroleum and its derivatives, its size, legal limitation, specification required; (a local team will help the expert on this requirement
5)Fluency in English ( Portuguese would be a plus).
6)Is able to provide 3 (three) letters of reference in previous contracts, with similar objects
These requirements together with the Reference Letters should be presented in a form of a CV in English and Portuguese. This documentation of this expert should be provided until April 5th in order to secure the place on the tender process. After that, if PACE is invited to participate on the tender, the expert will be invited to participate together with the team on the technical and commercial proposal. The actual date of start for the winner of the tender is not confirmed yet but is estimated to start on May/June.
The technical and commercial proposal can be done remotely whereas the actual project may require some trips of the technical team to Mozambique.
