I am a drummer for a metalcore band and I really want to make some music for my band. I am stuck with basic guitars on Garageband and cant get the tones and stuff that I want. I tried getting external midi's and guitar tones but the issue is either the application sucks or you HAVE to plug in a guitar (they have no 'typing keyboard). I need help asap as I want to start making projects fast.
I am based out of Toronto
Hallo, ksennic
Again here.
If you think that I can help you, looking for all the possibilities of Garage Band, tell me and I'll do my best.
The examples that I sent you are only a very limited test.
Many greetings!
It’s impossible to modulate a guitar sound. You have several guitar amp simulators such as Guitar Rig or Amplitube but it all needs the guitat being plugged in. If you were meaning to any software instrument that emulates guitar sound it doesn’t exist.
Hey, I am a media composer that studies MediaMusic on one of the best schools of Europe. I work daily with Digital Audio Workstations and can definitely tell you a lot about how to start producing in the box from a technical perspective.
GarageBand is a good program to play around with for hobbyists. If you are really serious about it you should upgrade to a professional DAW though. Logic Pro X for example is the professional upgrade of GarageBand which gives you a lot more possibilities.
If you still want to stick to GarageBand first I can tell you a couple of things to get started. It really depends on your needs but VST’s may help you out sound wise for example. Hit me up if you want me to help you understand the program better to just focus on producing music!
Hi. Tell me how can I help you?! I used to use that program. It works fine but it's not a big deal. Nevertheless, if you want we can try to work together.
Good luck!!!
