FTP over SSL/TLS is blocking a data connection, need help.

Hi, I am a systems engineer with 12+ years of experience on different systems. In the last 4 years I have been part of an industry where data transfer is a very critical part of day-day operations and I deal with huge volumes of data being transferred over different medium. If you are using a tool that doesn't limit you to FTPS (FTP over SSL) which is a limitation of IIS on Windows and has the functionality of SFTP (SSH2 file transfer protocol) , I would highly recommend using SFTP owing to it's stability and ease of management. FTPS sprays data over multiple ports depending on the size of the data and can cause issues with configuration of firewall ports and makes it complex to manage configuration. Also, if you are using IIS along with local user accounts(if it's not integrated with your AD/LDAP), that is a potential risk to your overall systems. Let me know what kind of firewall you have (Cisco, Fortinet, AWS Security Groups, Azure Endpoints...).Can have a crack at your problem either ways? Thanks, Suz
