Website Re-Design

Medium/large sized, community-driven website. Database of about 2GB is size. Built using the following software: Joomla 1.5.11 Community Builder 1.2.1 VBulletin 3.8.5 heavily modified eLearningForce DuoSync Bridge I have designed the new website in Photoshop (PSD) Open to discussing using either upgraded versions of the above software or different software the programmer thinks is better for this project. ## Deliverables **Existing Software:** **Joomla 1.5** **Community Builder 1.2** **VBulletin 3.8.5** **Jooma/VBulletin DuoSync Bridge** **Database size: >2GB** **BRIEF** I would like the existing website upgraded using either currently used or the latest software versions wherever possible. Alternative software packages outside Joomla and VBulletin will be considered on programmer's advice. If there is a better solution, I need to hear it. **The most important thing is the ability to retain all the member information in the database and include this data in the new website.** **Additional features required include** 1. Full integration with **FaceBook** 2. Connectivity with **Twitter** 3. Interactivity with **YouTube** a. Users who subscribe (paid subscriptions) can have their own YouTube videos and channels displayed within the site, including on a YouTube thumbnail scroller. 4. RSS new feeds for content stream **Additions to existing software:** ** VBulletin: (upgrade advice needed)** 1. Addition of "Thank you" and "Like" buttons to forum posts (Mods are available for both options) 2. Member ability to link/login via Facebook 3. Member ability to link/login/ tweet forum posts and blogs 4. Modify existing skin to match website (fluid) (see PSD file) 5. RSS Feed from other areas of site and externally into forum space. Check on latest upgrade status and upgrade if necessary **MEMBER SUBSCRIPTIONS:** Currently members subscribe via VBulletin and can choose one of three subscription options. Subscribing gives them the ability to create galleries, edit their posts for a longer period of time, use AddonChat software, access all forums, create social groups and have larger avatars. With the new site as with the current site, I would like only paid members to have the ability to create galleries on the forum. I would also like them to be able to use Google AdSense revenue sharing within their own blog space to generate revenue for themselves. This possibly can be done via the Blog module of VBulletin. Currently using the blog software that comes with CB. There is no subscription module in use for Community Builder. I am not aware of a module that would allow cross-platform upgrading of memberships on both CB and VB using one payment. If there is one, I would like it installed. If a module can be developed to do this, please advise cost. If this feature is implemented, only Subscribed members will have the ability to contribute content to the CB part of the website including submitting articles, photos and constructing their own YouTube video pages. I realize this may be too difficult to implement, please advise. **DESIGN:** 1. Create Joomla!/ HTML template from PSD files attached. 2. Front page YouTube module. Click and video shows within website (does not link out to YouTube). 3. Place all extensions necessary to enable website to work as described. 4. Place all codes for advertisers in correct positions. ? All available advertiser codes will be provided. ? I am a graphic designer and am able to assist with any new graphic work or changes to existing work if needed. ? It is up to programmer to source the necessary Joomla! and VBulletin modules needed for the website. If extra payment is required for commercial modules or extensions this needs to be determined at time of quote or included in the price of quote. ? All commercial modules and extensions purchased are to be purchased under my name using my contact details. I do not expect the layout to be EXACTLY as I have designed as there may be some minor placement changes or areas may be too complex but as close as possible, while correcting any layout errors I have made is desirable. I expect frequent communication as scheduled and encourage the programmers to speak with me whenever a question arises as to functionality or possibility.
