AutoCAD Grading Tool

I work with AutoDesk 2006 Land Desktop Developer (LDD) to grade multi-acre sites. I'm interested in a grading tool that allows the user to create and edit elevation points linked together by dynamic lines showing the slope between the points. The tool would:

1. Allow the user to create points and input elevations. The elevations will be displayed on the screen, in real time next to the point. The user would be able to click on an elevation label and enter a new elevation value. The points could also be moved. To delete a point, click on it and press the delete key.

If a point is deleted, the associated line is also deleted.

2. Allow the user to draw a line between two points. The line would be dynamically linked to the points and would calculate and place a label for the slope between the two points at the middle of the line. If the elevation of one of the points is changed, the slope value would automatically update. If a point was moved, the line will remain drawn between the two points and the slope value will be updated based upon the new (x,y) coordinates of the point. Multiple lines could be linked to a single point. To delete a line, click on it and press the delete key. If a line is deleted, the associated points remain.

3. The points and lines do not have to be linked to the project database.

4. A menu with two buttons needs to be created: one for creating points and one for creating lines.

At the end of grading a site, there would be user-created, visual web of points showing their elevations and linked by dynamic lines displaying the slopes in between the points.

## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):

a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
