We are a UK based print company in need of an on line calendar designer for our existing web site. Customers should be able to design their own custom calendars before previewing and purchasing their calendars on line through our existing web site. The designs need to be turned into print ready JPG or PDF by the system.
The calendar designer should include the following features:
- Customers able to create and design a 13 page calendar (12 months + Cover) on line easily
- System must use HTML5 or flash to create a simple to use and reliable customer experience
- Customers must be able to upload, resize and position their own images
- Customers must be able to select from a selection of around 30 border styles with one option being no border
- Customers must be able to add a line of text to each month with basic formatting ability (font, colour, size, drop shadow)
- Customers must be able to select from 5-10 different styles of calendar
- Customers must be able to select a starting month for their calendar
- Calendars dates must be auto generated
- Calendar designer must pass order details to our existing shopping cart (custom built in house)
- We must be able to view customers' calendar designs
- Source code must be provided to us
- Developers must agree to not resell or supply to other companies any code created for this project.
Our web server runs on PHP / MySQL. Calendar Designer may use databases if needed. Storage space is not an issue.
We have an in-house developer able to discuss this project in detail. Unfortunately we are too busy to do the build ourselves and we need this completed before the end of October to meet the Christmas rush.
