Online Web Examination Software

Hi, I am looking to produce an online web examination application. It will be running on a Linux web server so PHP is the preferred language and MySQL for the database. There is a similar open-source application available called TCExam however it has many features which would not be needed and it doesn't quite cover what we need to use the application for plus there is a fee. I have no problem if you want to use open-source packages for this project I am more than happy as long as copyrights and licenses allow for commercial and business use. A brief run down of the project: an online examination application where users can take an exam using their web browser (no need to install software) with PDF completion certificates created and a management console for the administrators to manage exams and user details. In depth: We will refer to this as the public side as this is what the end users will see. *form in centre of screen asking for centre code *second form asking for exam code *Prompted for first name, second name and email address and prompted twice so that they confirm they agree to exam rules and have spelt names right *they can now sit the exam *upon completing they receive an email with PDF certificate and admin contact for building also receives an email with results Secondly there will be a an admin side that there will be 5 security levels for it. Level 1: Can view exam results for their centre code and can search and export results. Level 2: Can assign level 1 to users and create centre codes and their group and exam codes. Level 3: Can assign level 1 and 2 access, create centre codes and their group exam codes and can view exam results for centres, can edit details but not score, can reset passwords. Level 4: This is the exam creators level, they will be able to create and edit exams Level 5: Is the full administrator level, can assign all levels for security, can edit, create and delete exams, can delete centres and their groups, can edit all user details and results, can reset passwords. For exams: *Blog style question create to allow change of font size, colour and insert images, GIF's and video (as a link, could be stored as HTML) *Option to make the exam timed and if so display timer in exam *Question randomisation *Multiple choice with 2-8 possible answers *Maximum number of questions in exam *Validation for at least 1 correct answer per question *Must be able to set maximum points, pass score and value for points per question Admin panel(s) *Display necessary details. *Allow user to search for exam by exam code then create number for unique 25 character keys for it per centre code *User detail entry for (also for editing) contains title, email, first name, surname, address and post code (for levels 1's) must have search panel. *Exam result seachable by centre code and then by exam key, must be able to create certificate from results (score, first name, surname, date and key). *Ability to reset passwords *Must be able to backup exams and results. *Content viewable based on security level *Ability to email is imperative. *When keys are purchase, they are emailed to level 1 for site in PDF with table with columns: Key, first name, surname. Last two blank for user to complete. To explain the centre codes in more detail: *Company receives a centre code generated, creates new DB for them *Exam keys are stored in table in this DB for each site, exam results for users also stored here Security is important with this project and is the number one priority. May not have been able to explain all the requirements in depth that well here so feel free to contact for more detail if needed.
