Mobile Information Point

This project is very similar to how the [login to view URL] website for buying pay monthly contracts works. I want create program which allows customers to search for information on the computer about contracts, tariffs, networks, and mobiles. Other information like for example terms and conditions for contracts, insurance policy etc. There are other major requirements which can discussed later which are more complex like for example when opting to buy a mobile contract, only certain phones are available on certain networks, or only some phones are free on certain tariffs for different networks. This project must be kept completely confidential. The program will need to be created using the object orientated approach. I want each staff account to be able to choose there own settings on their account, for example appearance (colour etc). The customers of the shop should also have facilities of changing some settings like font size. I will provide all information, to the programmer, and a detailed list of requirements of the program. Its important that the project shall: Ø Allow customers of a mobile shop to have the freedom of using the program to find out on information on phones, tariffs, networks, and terms and conditions, and ID proof required for each network. Ø Enable the shop to control what tariffs, networks and phones they offer, and to control any other information the page will display The project for an experience programmer will not take long, therefore the deadline for the project will be short but theses details will be discussed later. However I can negotiate the deadline of when the project has to be completed, so please don’t be put off by the deadline being short. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). 4) The program also must be complete with an installation guide so that it can be installed on any pc by novice, which meets the requirements of software and hardware. The requirements of software and hardware must be in the installation guide. 5) The programmer must be able to explain any coding to me if I do not understand it. (I am my self a JAVA programmer but only been doing it for 2 years) 6) I would expect the programmer to keep a log of the progress of the program, including any difficulties which s/he came across and how they over come them it. IF THEY CHOOSE TO USE CODING WHCH DON’T BELONG TO THEM IT MUST BE REFERENCED IN FULL AS THIS EXPOLITS THE COPY RIGHT LAWS. 7) I must be completely happy and satisfied with program, and the programmer must be prepared for changes on the program, if im not satisfied or slight change of requirements. 8) I must emphasis that I must clearly understand the coding and coding must be commented. So that I can replicate the program if I were to do it again. 9) I want the programmer to show me how he has corresponded with my requirements. He must follow an object orientated approach, using System Analysis and System Design and finally the implementation and testing itself. I know it sounds a lot, but I will be helping the programmer as well throughout the whole stage of the project. So that both I and the programmer will have a depth understanding. I will be doing more or a less all of the system analysis, system design, and testing unless requested not to by the programmer or if there is some sort of complexion and problem along the line. ## Platform The program must be able to run on windows XP, Windows 2003 and Windows 2000. Also maybe Linux TBC. The program must be created using the programming language JAVA using the following program: Latest version of Jbuilder, and the database side that will be used to correspond with it will be on Microsoft Access 2000 or above.
