Hotel Directory in PHP and MySql

I require a template driven hotel directory website. Please do not quote for design...you will be building the backend so that I can design the layout from easy to follow templates you will provide....so I can later position results where I want. REPEAT this is NOT for design - your skills will be in producing the database engine..... OK...the user/surfer will access the main page and be presented with two columns. On left column is a list of "featured hotels" (These are chosen through the admin control panel. Each of the featured hotels will have a thumbnail image and some text (maybe just name of hotel and town where it is located). Main section Quicksearch - user is asked to enter town of his choice Results show brief details of any hotels listed in town he types in with thumbnail images (note results are not case sensitive so if somebody types london they'd get same results as LoNdON) Under Quicksearch is:- Detailed Search The user sees a search facility where he is asked to select the area of the country (the areas are selected through admin control panel) On selecting the area a new page lists all towns within that area that have listings. The user can then click on the town and be prsented with brief details of all hotels within that town. Thumbnail images will be on this page. The user can then select the hotel he wants to view in more detail and is presented with a full page with all hotel details. On front page are links for hoteliers to log in/register where they gain access to their control panel Also link for viewer to subscribe to newsletter . ======================== Hotelier control panel ======================== Hotelier can register through application form (linked from main page) He is asked for email address and username An account is automatically setup and he will be automatically emailed a password and login details Login screen Lost password? > what is username > details emailed automatically Lost username? > what is email address > details emailed automatically Upon successfully entering Hotelier control panel He is asked for :- Name of hotel Address 1 Town County Postcode Country Brief description (30 words) Full description (up to 250 words) Website address E-mail Number of bedrooms Any accreditation (RAC, AA, 4 Diamond, 5 star etc) Check Boxes: unlimited and defined in ADMIN CONTROL PANEL these could include things like Lake View, Licensed Bar Upload picture - search local hard drive type (note pictures should be no more than 480x360 and no larger than 500kb or form will reject them) Submit > Thanks - your listing will go live within 24 hours and we'll contact you then ======================== Admin Control Panel ======================== Listings Edit/Authorise/Delete any listing Hoteliers Edit/Authorise/Delete hotelier details Area Add/Edit/Delete area Categories (tick boxes) This is a page where I can setup any number of tick boxes the hotelier is asked about his hotel. So if I think another tick box is required at later date I jst add it here and it's automatically added (without messing up details of previous listings who won't have had opportunity to tick this box) Add category Edit category Delete category Email Newsletter to subscribers Admin info Change site admin password Logout and that's about it REMEMBER I'm NOT paying you to design a site I'll take care of that later Just want the bare bones...so your time should ONLY be spent in providing the "engine" with due thought about templates also. There WILL be tweaks required at later date in which case I'd expect to pay extra for these....however for minor tweaks I'd expect these to be done as we go along. I expect to own copyright of script at end of project. I will have full reseller rights. I have a maximum budget of $300 for this. My terms are thus Whomever is awarded this project starts work and shows me work after two days - i would expect a competent author to have at least got the backbone worked out by then. As long as we're completely on same wavelength I'll deposit 50% in escrow. As I get more comfortable with you during process I'll deposit remaining 50% in escrow. Once I get completed files and all installs easily I'll release the funds. Featured listing - I pay all commission.
