Global database product changes - edit products and prices globally

Hi all,
Our website is:

The is a custom built PHP site with a MySQL database. We have our own CMS for it with FTP and MySQL access as well.
We can edit all product info one by one already but we now need new functionality to enable us to edit items globally.
PRICE CHANGES
1) We need to have the ability to globally change prices for our products based on:
a) Manufacturer
b) Category
3) Initial price of the product
4) Supplier
+ any of the above combinations together
PRODUCT CHANGES
2) We need to be able to edit globally:
a) product descriptions
b) product attributes
c) stock and shipping info (ie. stock levels, ETA, shipping times)
Basically any information that is provided on a product page such as:
[url removed, login to view],view,[url removed, login to view]
If you have worked with Magento, then you are already familiar with their global product and attribute update/change features. We would like to have something similar.
We need to have 100% flexibility on how to change things in our store.
