I am looking to make a search engine for video game cheat codes. The search engine would spider video game cheat code sites and grab the individual pages with the cheats on them. Here are some examples of sites I am basing it on: [login to view URL], [login to view URL], [login to view URL], cheatcodesclub.com. It would be able to search under different platforms so there would be a drop down menu next to the search with the different consoles to choose from. The search results would come up in a table with "Game Title", "Platform", and "website". The search results would be ranked by how many hits the site has sent me. So the site that is sending me the most traffic would be highest in the results. Except I own a few cheats sites that I would place above all the others no matter how much traffic I am sending to the site. Also I want an index of the cheats so If the user wanted to go through the index instead of searching for the game to find it then he could - ex: [login to view URL] Please let me know what language you would code the crawler in on your bid request.
