Need this question answered ASAP! Thanks..
We have Wordpress installed in the root directory. The .htaccess file is in the root directory as well with the following code:
<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteCond %{SERVER_PORT} 80
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !^(cgi-bin?admin)
RewriteRule . /[url removed, login to view] [L]
</IfModule>
We have a subdirectory called "/admin" which is password protected by another .htaccess file inside of the "/admin" directory. When you try to access a file within the "/admin" directory, it redirects you back to the index page in the root - not allowing you to type in a username & password.
How do we fix this? We won't provide ftp access but will try anything you provide us with.
Thank you.
