We are seeking experienced droid and iphone app developer to work in conjunction with out current cloud based marketing system that is in development. We are very behind schedule and have decided to start having the mobile built at the same time the rest is being developed. While I understand that it can be difficult to work separately on something that ultimately has to use the same data the mobile is completely different we will just need to use some of the same tables of data to pull through to the mobile side of things. We have created a content management system with integrated marketing tools, to link wholesalers and retailers. The number one reason retailers find it difficult to market the products they carry and why so many dont have websites is because it is so difficult to gain access to the content, images, descriptions, specs, etc of their suppliers. We provide the wholesaler a data base to load and manage their product line, and then share that content with retailers and rep groups, to use our marketing tools so everyone can easily market the products to their own customer types. A wholesaler will load and manage their product line in their own secure data base. From there they will share their product content with the sales rep groups as well as their retailers for electronic and print marketing. Our e-marketing tools make it very easy for a wholesaler to market their product to their retail customer base, have an easy to use and manage online shopping cart and or interactive catalog, publish to social media, as well as email blasts and automated newsletters using industry specific news, polls, blogs, surveys and classifieds for new and relevant content for their newsletters. As a retailer one of the most difficult parts of marketing the products in your store is where to get the content, images, descriptions, specs, etc. By being an invited member of CSG a wholesaler can grant access to their retailers to use their product images as well as accurate descriptions of their products to help market their product to consumers. The more that a retailer sells the more they buy from the wholesaler. Therefore Our integrated marketing tools make it easy for a retailer to create professional looking marketing pieces with just a click, drag and drop. They choose a template design, find their wholesaler, search by sku or title for product, then drag their images and descriptions, and specs of the product into the template. Once template is complete they can add their own retail prices, save the template and distribute through any channel. Email, social, pdf, publish to the web, create an interactive multi page catalog, we even have a shopping cart or website option when a retailer buys online from one of our wholesalers they can instantly add that product to their own online site or shopping cart. All the product data moves, images, content, meta tags, key words, specs, all the retailer must do is add their retail mark up. While this robust marketing tool is gaining ground quickly, we have a whole set of mobile apps we want to start developing to work the data base of products, and the wholesalers and retailers that are part of our community. We currently have over 18K retailers using the tools, with only a small number of wholesalers. A wholesaler must allow through invitation or request and approval to allow access to the content for retailers to use and market the product. While we have been running a version of this for about 7 months now the new version with all the tools not just email is over 4 months behind but we are hopeful to be live in the next 30 days. We have many wholesale lines and even more retailers waiting for us to be done. While the desk top and cloud based marketing tools are the core of the system, we also need a mobile version of the product. We want our retailers to be able to create templates and send email blasts or publish to social from their phones. Same with the rep groups that use the system. More and more people are using their phones before their computers, so we need to make a mobile app version of the tools, or a limited version of the tools, maybe just email and social, choose a template, find a product of one of the wholesalers products that you want to promote and publish to social or create an email and send it to a contact list. Ideally we would like there to be a sms marketing option as well. Send a sale or an announcement via sms. There is a natural community formed by our members, we provide news, and articles, and polls, and surveys industry specific, and b2b classifieds, maybe a company is going out of biz, or they have over stock our classifieds we want mobile and have a mobile announcement or community app that the users can decide what announcements to get like if a new poll is posted or a new classified in their category, or a new product line. This would be a retail, tool that they would need to set their preferences in their profile to get these notifications. In addition to the community announcement app, the first real app we want developed is our gift app. Since our first industry that we have loaded is the gift industry, and even the other industries we are adding like, pets, and horse and tack, sporting goods, etc can all be gifts this mobile app will work for all eventually. We will be able to brand it several ways, first as last minute gift, then just as Find IT and choose from any of our industries to find for yourself or someone else, and find products locally. Since our wholesalers load all the content about the product in the data base including images and descriptions etc, whether we are using that data for SEO or the gift app, or an email or Find IT locally wont matter. It will just be how we set up the categories and attributes for each product. Finding it based on those attributes will be the only challenge to have enough attributes to really have it fit all preferences but if we use check boxes then we will be assured they will have to use our attributes. One of our cloud tools is Find IT this is where when the wholesaler loads their product line into our system even if they do not have a shopping cart with us we provide 1100-1500 key words to each of the products in order to make them very SEO friendly. Since consumers obviously should not find wholesale product we have each product assigned to retailer by zip code. So when a product is searched the consumer can then add their zip code and a radius of 5-10-15ect miles and retailers who carry that product will be displayed. The retail profile page will show their location as well as the product images and the descriptions and specs. The user can choose to sort by price or distance as the retailers will show their prices. We provide shopping carts for retailers and wholesalers, so we will begin gathering real data of top selling items in categories based on wholesaler product lines and retailers in our community. So the function of the gift app, or the Find IT app is that if you are driving home and forgot to buy a gift for your wives Bday for example. You can go to the gift app, put in some demographic information, like age, sex, hobby, favorite color, birth date, and maybe some other options. This will then return the top 10 gifts based on the information you put in that are available locally at retailers with a specific area, example if you are at work and that is a set location on your phone and so is home you could do between home and work, if you want just current location and 10 miles you can do that. It would use google maps and the iphone map to locate our retail stores in Find IT show a mobile profile page of the store and a mobile profile page of the product and the price, since our retailers don't keep actual inventory they could call the retailer and see if is in stock or use the check status button sending a text message to the store, asking is it in stock? So that before driving there you would know if they even had it in stock. On the retail side, the user would get a text requesting the item they could use a standard response with touch option response, 1 = yes we have it come on in, 2= we have something similar come in let me show you, 3= no we are out would you like me to order it, and 4= write your own response. The mobile side of things, in addition to the app it is our goal, in opening the sms messaging we are hoping to be able to then add mobile marketing to our tool box, allow a member wholesale or retail to start to be able to send out text marketing of sale products. Just adding SMS as another marketing tool in their dashboard and hoping that newsletters or flyers or sales or any of the marketing templates can then be used or converted to be sent via text. The final stage of the mobile would be as we get more and more product lines loaded and more of the wholesalers marketing those products to be able to have user defined preferences to be able to find those products from our data base of products where a retailer has created a sale price or special mobile price, to be available when the users phone is in that retail store the user will receive a notification that a product that falls in their own pre defined settings or something they have bought before is on sale in the store they are in. ( we have not named this app yet) All of these will work on the same data base of products, and retailers. Consumers will have to sign up for access to any of the marketing like agreeing to a newsletter the retailer will get permission from their customers either in the store, add to the newsletter and then through the newsletter gain access to sms, but the user will be the responsibility of the retailer. We will use the product on sale by location for wholesalers during trade shows so a wholesaler, can send out announcements to any phone that they have sms permission when that phone is within the vicinity or by calendar, like the day of the event or day before the event come to booth 20 for a special deal on candy, or if the phone is active and is part of or signed up for announcements then the wholesaler can auto send a message when the phone is in range. Messages or marketing can be part of our Schedule IT, where they can set up a month of messages or templates, or sales or deals and tell the system how often and when to send those messages, and even choose different groups to send different offers or deal. We will want the same for mobile. Managing different contact lists for different offers by type. We will want reporting options on all apps as well. The gift app, a wholesaler will want to know how many times their product was found in a search, how many retailers were contacted as a result, and same with the mobile app for in store notices about specific products. A retailer will want to know how often their store was returned in the search and if the consumer chose other locations instead. I have had several developers give me several different ranges of time of these apps. I would like to see what the bid would be for all as well as for each individual, I am looking for someone who can put a team together to work quickly, but accurately and efficiently. Priority level is 1. Gift App 2. SMS messaging and marketing tool 3. Local Store and Trade Show notification Ideally, we have over a year of work left and it would be my hope to find someone to work with long term. But this would be the starting point. We are looking to get started right away and I have heard anything from 2 weeks, to 2 months so I am looking for realistic bids I prefer to be told 2 months and have that met rather than un realistic promises just because we are behind and want it done quick.
