Build an Online Store or Auction site or Market PLace

I am a mobile merchant and selling many electronic accessory. I create huge market in this area and some satisfied client suggest me to go online with this business. So I am thinking to develop online market shop OR eCommerce site OR Auction site.

I found some keywords during R&D like ( Online market shop, eCommerce site, Auction site, reverse Auction Site ). As i am a non-IT person I don't kow what is the difference between this sites or keywords.

So before hire some developer I would like to know that what is difference between this sites and With which type of site i should have to go for my business.

Please mention this difference in your PROPOSAL. who will proved helpful for this, I will discuss further all my project thing or requirement with him/her over SKYPE.

and during R&D, I found that I have to go with PHP, WordPress, WooCommerce kind of technology and API like PayPal, Facebook, AWS and eBay Integration.
