ASP/ASP.net Conversion

| We are a software company with an 'On Demand' web application developed in classic ASP on SQL Server 2005. We are looking to migrate our ASP modules to ASP.NET. As part of this migration project we are looking for a highly skilled and innovative ASP.NET programmer to develop in VB.net. The person must be not only technically expert but also able to suggest improvements to the user interface by taking full advantage of ASP.net's UI components. ============================= Project description Added 10/3/2006 ============================= The complete project consists of about 100 individual modules (asp pages) that each complete a specific function. Each module represents a business function and draws all data from the SQL Server database. Lines of code vary from perhaps 100 to 1000 or more in the respective modules. The software development environment would be .Net 2.0 (or 3.0 perhaps) using ASP.net and VB.Net. Tools used at this stage would be Visual Web Developer 2005 (Express Edition) To help clarify the bidding process the intial bid will be on a simple maintenance screen that allows entries of 'locations' for the system. We have included a screen shot of this module. We will supply all the necessary code, images and also create an online developmet environment where you can upload and test .. etc. Depending on the success of the first conversion we will offer the additional module conversions to the successful programmer or ask for more bids. A link to help evaluate the first module to convert follows : [login to view URL] | | | | ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
