We have recently purchased Rainworx RWAuction software.? A demo of how this software works can be found here - <[login to view URL]>.? ? We are not using the software for a traditional auction site however - we are actually? a site that is a collection of stores who sell fixed-priced items. Under this configuration, the default rwauction behaviour of requiring a 'buy it now' transaction per item is not entirely suitable. We would like our site to have a multi-seller shopping cart so that as buyers shop they can add different items from different sellers to one overall cart.? We would then like this data to be summarised per-seller when the buyer checks out.? However, we do not need one overall checkout payment - we are happy for a buyer to make one payment per seller. ## Deliverables Rainworx demo can be found here - <[login to view URL]>? Note that for our site we are ONLY using the Fixed Price option. Before the job is progressed in any detail, the responder needs to ascertain that it can be completed without a need to purchase the developer version of the product. We would also like to note that following successful completion of this job, we have a number of other customisations that we would like to be made to our site straight after this one.? We are hoping that the person who completes this job can become our development partner for future customisation? tasks and for any ongoing issues we have with the site that aren't covered by the vendor support. For the below job, we are looking for this to be completed asap, preferably by end of August if at all possible. The detail of this job: Currently, when a buyer looks at the detail of an item on our site that they want to purchase ([login to view URL]), they enter the quantity of the item and then? press a "Buy It Now" button that then takes them to a confirmation page ([login to view URL]) where they can continue or cancel.? If the seller has indicated that they? want immediate payment via Paypal? continuing then takes them to a checkout page ([login to view URL]) which then takes them to PayPal.? If the seller has indicated they will create an invoice? the buyer is taken back to the detail page and then? the seller creates an invoice which they can email to the buyer for payment via PayPal or another chosen method.? ? ? We are looking to replace the above with the following: When a buyer looks at the detail of an item on our site that they want to purchase ([login to view URL]), they enter the quantity of the item and then? press an "Add to Basket" button.? They are then taken to a new? shopping cart / basket page (design of this page should be consistent in terms of look and feel with other pages on our website).? On this page, they will see details on all the items they have? previously added to the basket / cart (that have not yet been confirmed)? including that latest item.? The buyer should be able to? load their shopping cart /? basket? up with products from many different sellers - however? the items from the same seller should automatically be grouped together so that the buyer is presented? with a total amount for each different seller. The shopping cart / basket page should also allow for the following: Adjustment of the quantity of each item via an "Update Quantity"? button. Addition of a particular item to favourites via an "Add to Favourites" button. Ability to? remove an individual item via a "Remove" button. "Clear All" button to enable whole cart / basket to be emptied. Allow user to continue shopping and add more items to their cart? / basket? by selecting a "Continue Shopping" button. The shopping cart? should be? saved so that a user can log out and come back to it later. A user should need to log in to access their shopping cart. Until the user selects the final button which should be "Confirm purchases"? in their shopping cart any items they have in their? cart can be sold to someone else.? Once the "Confirm purchases" button is selected however they are reserved for that user. To then actually purchase the items in the shopping cart the user selects a payment option for each different seller eg PayPal or Invoice, according to which options the seller has chosen to accept. The user should also have a facility to add a comment per seller if required When they? select the "Confirm Purchases" button, the user? confirms the purchase of? all items in their shopping basket / cart and? are making a commitment to the seller to pay for the item within 3 days. After clicking Confirm Purchases the user should then? be directed to? an updated? checkout page where they can make payment for each order.? On the checkout page details should be included for? all current orders that require payment. Payment should then be made? to each individual seller separately. If the seller has not chosen to accept? PayPal there should be a "Request Payment Details"? button that will enable the user to email? the seller to request payment instructions. If payment is? via PayPal a "Pay with PayPal" button should be selected? which will then direct the user to? PayPal where they can make payment to the seller for their purchase. Upon return from PayPal the user should see? the order? appear as PAID. A cart / basket icon should also be added that will appear at the top of each page informing the user of how many items they have in their cart? / basket at that moment in time. We are aware of one other rwauction site that has customised in a similar manner to this so for that reason are assured that this is all technically feasible. The above description is as complete as can be at this point without the work being? discussed or partially progressed? - the changes made will need to entirely integrate with the existing processes and code within Rainworx so e.g. shipping amounts and the way they update, code to update and send invoices etc. etc.? These additions should in no way affect the ability to perform any other tasks relating to the site.? Performance of the new and adjusted? pages should be as good as performance of the current confirmation and checkout pages.? Design of the new cart / basket page should be consistent with design of the other pages of the site, as should alterations to existing pages. All code should be tested and well commented and handed over with full documentation / explanation.
