I’m looking to create a configuration file to control the behaviour of the attached html/javascript. The javascript file is very cleanly written and less than 200 lines long. There are a total of 10 other html/javascript files similar or shorter than the one attached that would need to be done in this project. The configuration settings of interest are contained in a very well documented javascript library, with many examples. The aim is to create an easy to read settings file that alters the parameters of an online psychology experiment. This will involve populating simple string and numeric variables, through to controlling some of the code flow and/or other behaviours. For instance changing the instructions text, or adding new trials.

Hello, I saw your post and I am interested in the project. I believe that you need to apply some conventions over the configuration setup. So Convention over configuration will simplify the process of the creation of the settings. I am thinking of implementing your configuration file in YAML. There is a very nice converter from YAML to JSON which will help us feed the configuration file to the jsPsych library. Have a look at the milestones that I think should be implemented and for which I have a provided an evaluation of time and cost. I can work on this project in the next 3 days and I will provide a solution an example for one psychological test. I am sure that most of the code in the solution can be reused for the other 10 tests, but that has to be another project. Please feel free to contact me for any clarification. Kind Regards john
