I'm looking for someone to create a stand alone web application.
The web app should allow customers to upload their artwork to check for design errors.
The main properties of the artwork that have to be checked for each product are as follows:
File Type - The customer should only be allowed to upload (via drag and drop) certain typed of files(i.e. PDF, JPEG)
Dimension - The uploaded file dimension much be what the customer stated in their order.
Resolution - The file must meet the minimum resolution requirements to avoid blurriness/pixelation.
Colour Settings - The file must be of a particular colour setting (i.e. CMYK, RGB)
Bleed Settings - Check the artwork to make sure important information is not too close to the edge and can risk being cut (for example there could be a 5mm tolerance.)
The app should have a highly configurable admin panel where settings can be entered for allowed file types.
Good software engineering approaches should be applied. Proposal including UML should be produced.
The UX should be similar to tinypng.com. After files have been uploaded report should be displayed on screen.
