Add functionality in Prestashop search

Change frontend Search function to include customer generated product-numbers.
We build a new function where customers can enter their own internal product numbers for the webshop products if they so chose to. This is done through a link in frontend myaccount. Here a list is presented of all products/variants. Here the logged customer can add a new product-number to the existing one of a product/variant. Please note that each customer can add their own product-number to the same product.
This is in turn saved in a new generated DB table: ”ps_customer_product” which is a many-to-many relationship between products and customers.
Now the idea is to include this data in the frontend search function of prestashop. Note: Before anything can be searched it has to be indexed first, this is done in backend and can be setup through an optional cronjob of manual.
Both indexation and search is done as far as I know in the [login to view URL] file.
