Coalmarch is looking for a freelance Drupal Developer to work with our web development team in creating and theming user friendly, well structured, and responsive websites- on-time and with minimal defects. This is a temporary position, expected to last 2-3 months, starting Feb 1. Looking for someone who can work between 20-40 hours per week. Hourly rate is negotiable based on experience. Working remotely is acceptable, but only those candidates who are U.S.-based and legally authorized to work in the U.S. should apply. No recruiters please, candidates only. Qualifications: -Minimum of 2-3 years experience with Drupal CMS -Functional understanding of development and production environments including version control -Excellent knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JQuery -Functional knowledge and experience with Sass(bonus points for experience with Sass) -Excellent understanding of W3C standards, cross-browser compatibility, and responsive web design -Bonus points for functional knowledge of object oriented programming, specifically PHP -Good eye for design and UX -Effective communication and documentation of project status and details Responsibilities: -Develop clean, efficient, maintainable code that adhere to Drupal coding standards -Write clear documentation on code so it can easily be handed off to internal team -Work collaboratively as part of our development team to create and theme new websites, to code new modules or extend existing -Participate in weekly peer-to-peer code review with fellow developers, collaborate with fellow developers and other team members for assigned projects -Communicate regular project updates to peers via Basecamp and Slack -Participate in daily scrum meetings and bi-weekly planning/review meetings, in person or remotely Please provide the following: -Resume & cover letter -Desired hours/week -Desired hourly rate -Recent work samples, GitHub or Drupal profiles, and any other relevant details to showcase your experience or qualifications
