Hi, I am Open Cart expert. The standard size of a Barcode is 12 or 13 digits. Thats why its adding zeros to maintain that size. We have to modify extension to reduce the digits. But make sure it has to be a fixed number of digit. If you want to have 12345 for 1 barcode and 12345678 for other then it wont work. Harsh
