Large file uploader to Google Cloud Storage

We have a large file uploader and are looking to convert it to uploading directly to GCS. Here is an example of the feature as it is currently implemented: [login to view URL] We would like the uploader of this feature to be re-written to upload directly to GCS, in roughly the same time (we would accept your uploader to be at worst 20% slower than the current uploader, to be tested on a 1GB file here ([login to view URL]). Here are some details about this feature: - Hopefully this uploader can upload multiple chunks simultaneously. Here is a very good uploader that goes directly to S3 (not GCS), which can hopefully act as the framework for how your uploader would work: [login to view URL] The main criteria here is speed. - While your code will probably be 90% javascript, you will need to have basic familiarity with AngularJS and python to set up the project and to debug things. You should have a very good working knowledge (if not more) of those two, especially python. - Finally, this repository might also provide some good resources for implementing: [login to view URL] Very important note: the acceptance criteria is not that you can replace our uploader, but that you can replace it and it is no more than 20% slower than our current uploader (which is quite fast, and comparable to Google Drive uploads -- it also doesn't encrypt the storage chunks which GCS does and so adds some additional overhead to things).
