LEAD FULL STACK DEVELOPER

1. INTRODUCTION We are looking for a Lead Full Stack Developer responsible for development of a Practice Management Software. The SDLC has already commenced, and you will be supplied with a full Functional Specification of the solution. As a Lead, you are expected to advise on the latest (or best) technologies to use for development of the software. The software will include both a user-facing web and mobile front-end versions accessing a database stored in the cloud. We follow the Agile SDLC, with iterations of one month, therefore the Lead will be expected to showcase agreed upon milestones every month. This is a full-time position, expected to run for 8 months to a year (lead should also advice on time period). 2. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Design, and build software as specified in the Functional Specifications • Apply the Agile SDLC. Therefore, must be able to collaborate with a cross-functional team (consisting of a Senior BA, and Senior Developer) to define, design, and build new features and updates to defined requirements or changing requirements • Set up a remote test and production environment • Continuous and clear documentation of source code • Commit source code to remote repository using GIT • Present or showcase working iteration of software to relevant stakeholders every month 3. REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS • Very good UI development skills • Experience with AWS technologies (cloud), with architectural design skills • Database development & administration • Front-end languages & libraries e.g.: HTML, CSS and JavaScript • Server-side languages e.g.: C#, Python, Ruby, Java, Android, PHP and .Net • JavaScript frameworks e.g.: AngularJS, React and Amber 4. POTENTIAL CANDIDATES/ TO TAKE NOTE OF THE FOLLOWING (NB) • Practice Management Software- a category of healthcare software that deals with the day-to-day operations of a medical practice. • All source code will belong to the company, and cannot be used or redistributed after completion of work. A non-disclosure form will be signed between respective parties. • This is a big project, with huge responsibilities, therefore companies (not only individuals) are welcome to bid.
