Hello, Odoo is perfect for this task. We can setup sale users and assign sales to each one according what they've done. Then we set up reports (sales per person/per day, etc). In the other hand we will setup specific inventory rules to track the movements of the gas cans, so your client will know exactly how many cans are out there being sold and how many are returned, and how much stock he has. He will know the exact amount of full and empty gas cans at each moment, so he can configure purchase orders on his providers accordingly.
