I need a Simple PHP script Annual Leave Calculator, the calculator only calculate "Total of Day Leave Taken" and also "Next Working Day Date". * Please develop this in pure php NOT IN FRAMEWORK such as laravel or codeigniter or etc! - requirement to do this 1) It will be easy if you have an experience to develop annual leave before 2) PHP and MYSQL only I already build the interface that name [login to view URL] and also ready the structure of the simple publicholiday database the file is [login to view URL] I just need u you to make this Simple PHP script Annual Leave Calculator to work. Here what i want : [login to view URL] ------------------------------ 1. When we choose the "Jquery Datepicker From Date" and "Jquery Datepicker Until Date" in this page (on change event) it will using jquery getjson to get data from php page that name [login to view URL] What i want is it will count the "Total of days leave taken" and will get the "Next Working Day Date" from [login to view URL] to show the result to be appear in [login to view URL] 2. [login to view URL] ----------------------------- How we get the "Total of Days leave taken" ? - Must not count the weekend (in this case not count Friday and Saturday) - Must not count Public Holiday that we get from "Publicholiday database" - if the Public Holiday from "Publicholiday database" equal Friday, it will not count Friday, Saturday and Sunday because Sunday is a replacement of Public Holiday that on Friday weekend. How we get the "Next Working Day Date" ? - if the public holiday are on the weekend ( in this case i want only Friday), "The Next Working Day Date" will be on Monday. It will return the date of Monday. Because Sunday is the replacement of Public Holiday that on Friday Weekend. But if Monday is on public holiday it will return the next day that is Tuesday. It should scan all date_public_holiday from the PublicHoliday database to know the next day working date. *Working day = Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, *** Weekend refer to case that i said above *Weekend = Friday and Saturday Example Test Case (Asia Kuala Lumpur Time) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- *** Public Holiday from database is 2017-04-06, 2017-04-07 and 2017-04-10 if the user accidentally choose the annual leave date from 2017-04-04 to 2017-04-07 Supposely it will return the result : Total of days leave taken : 2 day Next Working Day Date : 2017-04-11 (Tuesday) Really hope if u guy can follow my budget. If your are using database as show in example, then just add stored procedure in database for your problem logic for example -- this query retrun holyday count select (DateDiff('2017-04-15', '2017-04-01') + 1) - count(*) As HolyDayCount from publicholiday Where publicholyday Between '2017-04-01' and '2017-04-15'; -- check nextday is publicHolyDay Select count(PublicHolyDay) From publicholiday Where PublicHolyDay = date_add('2017-04-15', INTERVAL 1 day); -- if result is true, check again for nextday else display date stored procedure use date variables, for logic as date1 and date2 or some thing like that. only stored procedure display your required logic.
