Hi, I would like to be able to convert logstash configurations to JSON and be able to regenerate the logstash configuration. The idea is that we would be able to edit a logstash configuration in python and convert it back to JSON. After the configuration is generated, the script should automatically execute a logstash debug on the configuration to verify that it is valid. Deliverables: • Conversion script accepting logstash file text or json • Tests showing conversion working appropriately I’ll confess that I didn’t search that in-depth for a package that already does this, so if a python package already exists for this, I don’t mind paying for direction to the package and an example showing how it is used in this configuration.
