Hi. I am an electronics engineer with good python programming skills and some knowledge in s7 PLCs. The reason I am writing this proposal is I could successfully implement S7 plc communication with node-red (wrote energy meter readings to a set of memory locations on the PLC). Therefore, I believe that I could realize the snap7 based communication with S7 too. If you prefer, I would give a try. I am not a very experienced PLC programmer, btw.
