I've already developed several solutions for metaheuristic optimization (including the above mentioned) in Python and C#. I can create the program as requested and perform the tuning of hyper parameters for the neural network and both optimization algorithms. I would work in Python 3.

Hello, I can do this project; I already used GA to optimize neural networks weights. The assignment seems to be in Python; I propose to use Python3 - if you need it in Python2 please tell me. Since this seems to be an assignment, I propose to provide you with: 1 - Function to produce the datasets as 4D arrays (4th dim is class 1 or class 2) 2 - Function to evaluate a given set of weights. The NN will be composed of 1 input layer (inputs), 1 hidden layer and 1 output layer. 3 - Genetic Algorithm 3.1 - I will implement one crossover function between two individuals 3.2 - I will implement one mutation function 4 - Simulated Annealing 4.1 - SA needs a random neighbour function; I propose to use the same mutation function from GA 4.2 - I will implement the cooling schedule and decision-to-move from SA Feel free to contact me if you have any doubts, need to clarify something or talk about deadlines.
