raspberry pi: push button to play video, then use rfid to open magnetic door

pretty straight forward task, playing the video and reading rfid using say the rc522 is simple. if you could give me more info on the magnetic door will help, but other than that i can program what you need in under a day and provide you with the source code and a ready made image for the pi that you can simply burn into the sd card and run it without having to do anything manually except the wiring for the button, rfid and the door for which i will provide you with wiring diagram and help you too. feel free to check my profile for some of my past projects and reviews.

hi we need more details to set the right cost for this project like about rfid , is it will one rfid tag or you will need to add more like you will have button to add new rfid and another one to delete and we need know the rfid module type too any way we can do this project fast and in robust way

I've got most of the components required to develop your project, multiple Pi's, buttons, rfid board, and relays. I would suggest developing this in Python3 using OMXPlayer to play the video. How is the magnetic door controlled - would a relay be suitable to control it? I would be very interested in working with you on your project.

Hi, I'm an electronic engineer with more than 5 years of experience related to developing raspberry PI based systems. I've decided to apply for the project because I have done exactly similar project previously which was to play a video on a button press and do some actuator stuff. Regarding this project, we can easily use raspberry pi to read RFID input and based on that we can write the software to open the gate using GPIO pin of the raspberry. here to solve the problem we will use the raspberry pi gpio pin to connect a push button . and will make player which can run a video from the code . for the Rfid part we will use MFRC-522 RC522 RFID Reader rfid reader or similar which communicate with the pi by using RXTX . and will control a light or a motor or a magnetic lock [here give u some 5v single voltage to do any kind of work or action]
