Portuguese language business intelligence researchers

Pequod Advisory Group is an international business intelligence and emerging markets research firm. We require a Portuguese-language business intelligence researcher. On-going projects tracking publicly available information on companies and individuals in Lusophone countries (Brazil, Angola, Mozambique). This will include: Identifying adverse coverage of the subjects in all media. Searching available online databases in Brazil, Angola and Mozambique for corporate registrations. Searching online databases for bankruptcy proceedings, other court orders, and credit reports. Social media sweeps for subjects. May require on-ground visits to various business registration agencies within the country (eg. Board of Trade). The individual will have: Excellent command of verbal and written English (reports are drafted in English). Familiarity with business and political environment in Brazil, Angola, and/ or Mozambique. Ability to synthesise information from multiple online and commercial sources into a legible coherent report. An interest in business research, fraud, commercial risk, due diligence, and/ or security. Must be able to problem-solve actively to achieve the desired result.
