This looks like a good opportunity, but I honestly cannot accept the bid unless the milestone (Freelancer 10%) is paid first because I don't have the money to pay what they want upfront. That being said, I have written scores of spec scripts for film and television since 1991. I have training from UCLA and I have an MA in Humanities (with an emphasis in writing--which means that in graduate school I studied screenwriting, novel writing, and adapting novels into screenplays.) This is a generous budget that is much closer to WGA scale than most projects. Let me know any ideas you have about fantasy casting and your preferred screenwriting software. I like WriterDuet (it's free and built for seamless, real-time collaboration) but I also have Final Draft and Movie Magic. I'm a fan of a lot of the gurus, but I don't write by number. I'm a character-first writer, even if what I'm working on has a lot of action set pieces.
