Dear freelancer,
First of all, thanks a lot for taking the time to read my post.
I am a storyteller/ independent filmmaker, working on my first - microbudget - feature length project.
It's a Spanish movie (with English subtitles), to be filmed on one of the Canary islands.
An atmospheric, microbudget thriller called 'Los Ojos Rojos' (The Red Eyes)
As an indie filmmaker working on a tiny budget, I need to wear multiple hats.
Therefore, I'm not just the director, I am also location scout, casting director, fundraiser, producer, social media manager, and so on.
To be honest, I am not an expert in any of these fields, and I often feel it distracts me from my main task, directing (actors). The same applies to my screenwriter/ co-producer. We are no social media heroes and would like to focus on the creative process as much as possible.
Therefore, I am on the lookout for someone who would like to market our project on different social media platforms. Someone who can help us build an audience.
Are you a social person, who knows how to build an audience? Do you know how to build, establish and maintain (online) relationships? Do you have the skills to market without spamming? Have you always dreamt of collaborating on and being part of a feature film (team)?
In short, are you up to the challenge of trying your hand on marketing our project and are you willing to spend a couple of hours a week on this?
