Hello There, Yes we can build the software and here is the logic. Logic: If we have two camera installed on certain distance and if a car passes first camera and that camera captures the image with time and next time when it will visit the next camera it takes another image with current time. Then the calculation will be something like this. Let say the distance between camera 1 and camera 2 is x and the camera 1 captured time is 8 am and then next camera captured time is 9 am then the speed should be x / hr But please mind the time must be converted to unix timestamp and it will surely calculte the speed of that car Now in a certain time there might be `n` no of cars should pass camera 1 so how camera 2 will identify each particular car? The logic behind it every car captures image of car should be converted to hex code and that hex code is unique and camera 2 can easily identify that same car. Hello dear, I have a lot of experience in Computer Vision applications / image and video processing in mobile and windows applications, My Team experience includes Port Based container Damage detection Software: detecting damaged container and keeping record and report of containers movement, Driver fatigue detection using raspberry pi which in a matter of milli seconds determines if the driver is sleeping or not and alarm accordingly using OpenCV, Vehicle counting in the particular category they belong to on a high speed road, number plate recognition using OCR algorithm of openCV, face detection and recognition for attendance system of a school and patient management system of a medical system. Hi, We have experience using OpenCV and Java for registration plate detection and recognition in videos. Given the GPS locations of the cameras we can estimate the speed of the vehicle and upload the data along with the extracted plate number.
