Hi, i'm a software quality engineer with 4 years industry experience in software testing. I'm especially specialized in Rest API, Node.Js, javascript, json object handling and so on. Not sure about the project details, but from my experience, if you were to verify the json at a scalable way, I may help you to convert to xml and verify through XSLT on a very programmatic way. that would mean your test automation will be very scalable in a way that it don't really do manual verification, and instead with a neat way you could identify the result with logics. I already have experience with unit testing REST API with JUnit, in my current main job this is part of my responsibility. Creating a java maven project and a small/clean framework for testing REST URL-s would not be hard for me. I assume the JSON responses should be checked to have the correct types (the right fields) and the content also should be checked (so the fields has the right values, e.g. based on sample JSON files).
