Setup my bot to run 24/7 on a windows 2016 server

I currently have a program that functions well on my own computer. I however want to have this run 24/7 and i do not have it to run on my own computer ( battery and electricity issues). I have attempted to have this run on a VPS, however every time i try to run it 24/7 it is unsuccessful. 1. Have the bot run 24/7 on a server ( runs perfectly well on my own windows 10 computer). 2. As soon as i disconnect from the RDP of the VPS, the user is logged out and the program stops running. It stops running likely because it doesn't detect any mouse or keyboard anymore since i'm not connected anymore. I'm sure there is a solution to this, and for someone who knows how to do this it would likely be very easy for them. My thoughts are that some sort of emulator would be needed to emulate that the mouse and keyboard are still in the server even though im not connected to it anymore. I also do not know why it works on my computer for windows 10 but it doesn't on windows 2016 server. Thank you!
