I am based in China, with a 3-year procurement experience in China, also exported apparels to your country before. For me, it's easier to contact the suppliers and follow up the production and ensure quality before shipment, because there is a big jet lag and distance between two countries. I guess that is why you wanna a buyer based in China. Also, I guess your company like FOB payment. However, it's not still very profitable unless you contact the export agency. As you know, there is a tax drawback from Chinese government when exporting in China. So I believe based on the efficiency and budget decrease, as a buyer I am qualified. I’m a supply chain professional with over 15 years of experience in multiple manufacturing firms, such as household & consumer goods, food & beverage, pharmaceutical, textile manufacturing. Currently I’m an independent contractor as supply chain procurement officer in a garment manufacturing firm of products for export. Most of my career years are in the areas of sourcing and procurement. Being in the garment manufacturing company is an advantage for this project and dealing with suppliers based in China. This is because most of our materials, fabric and sewing accessories are being purchased in China, as well.
