I studied how to use 3d Max at school and now I now I can manage it perfectly. In case you wanted to use Maya, I can't. Otherwise, I can show you a little boy I made by box modeling. It was for a videogame I also made. Proposal: Dear Sir/Madam, I think I qualify for this job since I've done this in the past. I made a little boy for a videogame for a project in school. I specialize in making characters in a realistic way and in cartoon character way. I've also created clothes and hair. I like to work with a plane in the back showing a reference picture. It makes it easier for me to work, so it called my attention when you higlighted this part. The "box modeling" is the way I do all my characters. It starts with a box and I deform it by it's vertex because it can transform into the shape you want. If it is a face, I might need to do this just one time.
