As an aspiring full-time internet streamer, I always look for ways to have an edge in the industry. I currently stream on the gaming network Twitch, which I'm using to build my growing audience.
I would like to have custom animated backgrounds, transitions, intro sequences, and overlays, similar to what you see on television broadcasts on my internet broadcast. This includes making 1080p videos with alpha channels (.mov) that are displayed in various scenes throughout the show. I use an open-source streaming encoder called OBS, which use Scenes as a fundamental way of displaying stuff. In total I would have 6 scenes with custom animations. To give you a sense of what I want, I'll describe each scene and my vision.
First, is the "Countdown" scene where I start the night with a countdown to give viewers a chance to tune in. I would like to have a custom looping background for this scene featuring a set theme.
Next, is the 1st Opening Scene which is where I would have my webcam, live chat, and the current music playing in the stream. I would like to have a custom looping Background with additional animated overlays for the components on screen.
3rd is the 2nd Opening Scene which will be the same as the first, but the only addition will be the inclusion of a screen which shows the current game being played. This scene is used during downtime or loading time.
4th is the "Gameplay" Scene where I play my current game. This scene would include a custom animated overlay for my camera and stream info (latest follower, most recent donor).
5th is the "Break" scene where I step away from the computer. This would have a custom animated background.
6th is the "Ending" scene includes another custom background and ends the stream off.
In all, there would be about 6-8 short looping clips and 3 short transitions that follow the theme of the broadcast. As for design, I have some ideas like 3D geometry, or even simpler stuff like 2D animations. I will include some files that give you an idea of the kind of wow factor I'm looking for. I will also include the layout plans for each scene I described.
Also: I am a 16-yr old guy who is willing to put in work and effort, and if you don't want to help, I would encourage you to give me some advice on how to tackle this project.
Hello, A fellow gamer huh? I would love to help! I don't fully understand the animations ad how this is going to be done but I'm sure we can work something out after we talk.
