i suggest you to try this solution To do that you have to rename your ENU folder. C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Autodesk\3dsMax\20XX - 64bit\ENU Rename the ENU folder to ENU_old and start 3ds max, which will generate new ENU folder on start. That's a good solution for most of 3dmax errors
