Originally and ideally intended to rely on on-location from Gobineau Bay, Terre Neuve, Canada - all the way to Gobineau's two prolonged journeys in Central Asia i.e. Iran, its religions and philosophies: see my English translation below. After more than 20 years of research on their exchange between 1843 and 1859, I have come to think of the latter as a French' Lawrence of Arabia' - same scope and stature geo-politically, Arabia with British T.E.
