Require a Sr.Tax Preparer

We are Looking for someone with a fun-loving, flexible, motivated personality who is detail-oriented and very high communication skills with the ability to manage multiple sets of information and task groupings while maintaining and meeting all deadlines and goals. Someone who has a strong work ethic, is confident, comforting in their communication with others, and can work with little supervision. Attention to detail and being a self-starter/self-driven is of utmost importance. Professional demeanor with excellent customer service skills. (Will need the flexibility to work additional hours and some Saturdays during Tax Season as required.) Important Note: * You must be willing to work within US hours (we can be flexible 3-4 hours on start/end times within reason to handle our US-based clientele). Your English language skills must be at a fluent level. * The client is a progressive, tech-savvy CPA Firm, so you must have computer skills. Knowledge of working in the "cloud" is mandatory, as the firm is 100% digital. Primary job duties would be: Preparing more complex tax returns (1040, 1120S, 1120, 1065) Reviewing tax preparation of our other staff (both for technical review and theoretical review) & (returning to other preparers for review points & training) Helping clients with documents, questions, issues Training less knowledgeable staff/answering staff questions Tax projections & quarterly estimates Communication with clients/government agencies / other staff Special client projects as needed Working as a team to help get information in, out, done, and keep customers happy! REQUIREMENTS: Must pass background & credit check (for client security). Must be proficient in Lacerte/Proconnect Online tax preparation software. Must be skilled in Quickbooks desktop and online version. Must be proficient in Excel. Must be willing to work with our teams all over the world, different cultures, and personalities. Must have a minimum of 5 years minimum tax experience and completed more than 500 returns (both business & personal returns), have reviewed other staff work before for both technical and theoretical issues. NOTE: Experience and understanding of Insightly & slack is a plus but not required. During Tax season, hours range 40-50 hours per week (Feb-April and Sept-Oct typically).
