Visual Basic 6 (VB6) - Require fast window resizer OCX / ActiveX + User Notification User Interface + Ongoing VB6 work

A previous developer gave us some code which automatically resizes all the control, objects on a form when it is resized, but it is not very fast, and when maximises a form, there is a delay while it redraws the page, also it isnt very robust, for example MSFlex grids etc - and it doesnt handle the font text very good, it is stretched and looks poor I know there is a 3rd party ActiveX which is really good and we used to use it - however I dont want to be dependant on something else which is controlled by a license etc Also, we display some notification messages to our user in our app, to alert of events etc - its not very user friendly - do you have a better notification experience ? For example using a menu item on the form, with a red background, user clicks on it, to get a list of notifications, where they can click on to see them - i can do that, but not sure how to make 1 menu item with a background colour ? Please provide your bid, for the ABOVE tasks, and confirm your understanding, and explain when you have done this before, and any examples (screenshots etc) Also, ongoing VB6 work for our app Thanks Ally
