This is a repost since the winning bidder from the original posted project has defaulted. Was promised one day turnaround which went to 3 days which has now been more than 10 days and all we get are excuses and "I'll have it to you soon", with no mock-ups provided or anything at all but promises. Unacceptable way to do business.
We need a good web designer that is CREATIVE. Have a client website which needs redesigned.
This bid is NOT to redesign the entire website. All we are looking for is someone that is creative and can redesign the front page and one other page then we will take it from there. So we are just trying to find a creative design to work with that incorporates the best of the original site and something new and provides us with two pages we can use as a template for the site. At best for someone really good and creative it should not take more than about 5 or 6 hours to do this job and we are not paying more than around $100 for it so if you bid higher than that don't bother.
Client wants to retain the same look and feel and graphics and functionality and color scheme of the existing website to the greatest extent possible and client is very picky. The trick is we want the website to be as similar in look and feel as the clients existing website but to somehow integrate so it is a balance between that site and another one we like. Or at the least take the existing concept and make it much better.
We'll provide the url in private and pertinant details in that regard to whomever we are considering once bidding begins.
New design has to be as search engine friendly as possible for the client business - although not looking for an seo specialist per se as that is our job - just want the design to be friendly enough to be easy to seo for us and to be done using CSS. Design is to be in standards compliant html with css -not php, don't need a CMS, etc.
Understand we want tableless design with CSS.
If you bid for anything else other than what we are asking we'll ignore the bid.
The existing design especially the front page is rather stiff towards being able to do what we want so we are looking for something else that will please the client in regard to design and allow us to enhance the content without affecting the design. that is our biggest issue and why this project is being undertaken.
So please understand this once you see the site as we will need to know you clearly understand the scope of this project.
And here is the most important part -we want someone that can do this very fast and efficiently as we are under a time crunch especially now that the former bidder has left us waiting for over a week. Therefore we expect the job to be done within a few days at most or at least for us to have acceptable mock-ups quickly or we will close this and consider it failed.
Good part is we are swamped with business and it is likely if we find the right person with this project we will have other projects to bring to task quickly.
We could do this one ourselves being CIW certified web professionals but we're just very technical and don't feel all that creative on this particular project plus we are so busy we'd really like to find someone good to work with on this who IS creative and can figure out how to take our concept and deliver a quality web page.
Understand that the timeframe is the most critical part of this project in addition to the work needed as we will mutually agree upon prior to bid being accepted.
Please read carefully and be certain you understand the scope of the project as anyone offering more or less than what we are asking will likely be ignored. And we will say it again, we know how long this should take we've designed over 350 websites for clients and we do not expect to pay more than about $100 for this so bid accordingly.
