App Protoype

We are a group of students looking for someone to build an app prototype for our business idea.

The app will allow users to input any ingredients they currently have and direct them to other sites that provide recipes based on what the user already has. (E.g., if you inputted flour, eggs and sugar the app could direct you to 3rd party sites containing various cake recipes).

We would like a feature whereby users are able to scan the receipts for their weekly shop, which brings up the list of the ingredients on the app. We would also like users to be able to manually input ingredients via a separate feature.

We would like for the site to be able to compile items which will then generate links to 3rd party sites, which provide recipes based on given ingredients. Furthermore, we would like for the recipes to be filtered based on price, best reviewed (based on a star system), dietary restrictions, time taken to cook, and most popular.

We would also like a profile section, which allows for users to store their favourite recipes and plan future meals (i.e., with a weekly meal planner). The profile section should also include the user’s username and a profile picture etc.

We are only looking for prototypes which would demonstrate the app’s functionality and the user’s experience through the app rather than a full build. Ideally, we’d need designs showcasing: 1. how a user would scan their receipt/input ingredients, 2. a list of recipes with links to other sites (including the ‘filter’ system), 3. An example profile containing example favourite recipes and a planner.
