Online car parts Store
This project focuses on building a complete online car parts store. The website need to be designed (colors, size fonts, logo etc), and build under java and mysql.
The website must be composed by the following modules.
Online buying. This module focuses on the customer views and tasks.
• The customer must choose his car model by the auto plates number or manually. Once the car is chosen, the customer must choose which part of the car is looking for. Several trademarks items must be shown.
• The shipping and delivery methods must be shown with their prices.
• The payment process by credit card or paypal must be done.
• Customer can view the actual process of their purchases and deliver.
The administration module. This module focuses on the following tasks.
• Products Input, delete and modifications
• Cars input, delete and modifications
• Promotions and sales settings
• Delivery prices and methods
• Statistics (the most )
The sales module This module is going to be used by the employees.
• This module shows the purchases and orders.
• When a customer purchases a product, a report (product, address, and delivery data) must be printed for employees. The employees use this report for the shipping task and pasting this information in the delivery box.
• The employees update the actual process stage of the product delivery. (Payment, preparing for shipping, shipped delivered).
• Customer complaint and inquiries tasks
Every module (class, method, database query) must be coded and documented for future changes.
Ps: I am a computer science professor at University. I know very well about databases and systems architecture but unfortunately I have no time for this project development.
