Our team needs to have a Macromedia Flash presentation for an eBay auction.
The purpose of the flash movie is to showcase sound samples used by producers to make music.
The flash movie will have four dynamic elements that will be included from a live source on the internet:
1) One Audio Demo Streaming MP3 File
2) One product photo
3) Three Bodies of text – each loaded from a separate text file
4) Customer Testimonials – loaded from an XML that can have unlimited testimonials
The testimonials will have two elements
1) a single line of testimony i.e. "This is amazing!"
2) a single line of source i.e. “ – Brandon, New York”
1) The audio demo will be streamed from the server and will display “loading” as it buffers, and then the title of the file. This could also be loaded from an XML file where I can define the title of each track. The audio player will have two three basic functions. Play, pause, and stop.
2) The product photo will be loaded from the server when the presentation loads
3) The three bodies of text will be loaded from three separate text files on a server. The four menu buttons on the bottom of the auction will trigger the different text bodies to display. Much like tabbing between pages on a web page. The only element that will change from page to page is just the text box area.
I would really like it if scrollbar could be inserted for text bodies that exceed the text areas!
4) The customer testimonials will be on a continuous loop pulling the data from an XML file. I would like them to have a simple transition of fading in and out. Something that catches your eye, but doesn't over whelm the buyer.
The contact page will have a simple form area that allows users to do three things:
1) Input their e-mail address
2) Input a message
3) Submit the message to a specified e-mail address
4) Clear all fields
Additional requirements:
This flash presentation will be used to display 12 of the same products. So I will need good use of commenting in the action script to quickly modify the text files, XML files, and JPG locations on the fly to make it unique for each auction.
I have a PNG file that separates every element into layers for easy disassembly and importing into flash. This PNG file is an exact screen shot of the final product!
